I Quit!
And I should've quit long ago. I made 2 Poptropica feature films before, but forget the 3rd one! For years now, I wanted a 3rd Poptropica film bad, but I never got anywhere with it, and now I finally know why: My 2 movies are about my life, and my life has NOT been so easy to make a 3rd movie with. Not this time.

Since I made "Pirates, Camera, Action!", I switched to an animation school and moved to a new home 1300 miles away. (Hence all the time I've been inactive on this blog.) And animation school has made me rethink my stop-motion poptropica animations. If I EVER want to make a 3rd Poptropica movie, I can't make it like my other 2 movies. I gotta step up my GAME and make PROFESSIONAL animations next go-round.

And as this guest post states, all my attempts to make a 3rd movie failed.
Yes, sir, I made tons of movie chapters that didn't work, wrote tons of screenplays I didn't like, and made lots of plans and movie endings that didn't make sense. I wore myself out trying and failing. And if I made a movie out of all THAT... Well, this is why movies ABOUT making movies don't always work.

I guess if you're making movies based on true stories, then you sometimes gotta be patient and wait for those true stories to happen... And I was definitely NOT patient.
"Pirates, Camera, Action" ended on a cliffhanger, and I wanted to resolve that cliffhanger by making my 3rd movie right away. But my first mistake was jumping into that project without giving myself time to rest.

And my second mistake was abandoning the bonus features of "Pirates, Camera, Action!" until the 3rd movie was finished!
I expected that 3rd movie to help me figure OUT the bonus features, but in reality, I couldn't even figure out the name of this 3rd movie, much less how this movie should go... What a washout! That's the last time I do my projects out of order.

...So, instead of charging after a new movie package, it's time for me to finish the incomplete movie package that was in front of me all along: "Pirates, Camera, Action!"
-I made the first few bonus features last December, but I finally cleared a hurdle last month that will help me complete the rest of them.

What was that hurdle, you ask? ...Find out next time on Invisible Ring's HQ!
